Each production run is analyzed by independent labs to create a Certificate of Analysis that details and quantifies medicinal compounds. This COA must be made accessible to clients.

Certificate of Analysis for All Products

Certificate Of Analysis for a product must be published on the company’s website once that product is for sale and until that product has expired. Good Practices and SOPs will then decide how long the COA must be archived. Ease of access and readability is imperative for clients to consult COA before product purchase. In order to minimize printed materials online access to COAs is preferable.

 

Each product’s unique Certificate of Analysis must be available to clients.

Onus is on company to provide the COA, not on the client to request it.

Extraction Analysis and Residual Solvents Testing

Once Canada legalizes the processing of Cannabis flowers into extracts, distillates, edibles, etc. the TVCI Organic+ COA for these products will require:
♦ Analysis of Extraction Methods, Extraction Substance and Carriers/Additives.
♦ Testing results for residual solvents used during extraction.
